Salon commission tracking software

Salon commission tracking software your team can check themselves

Every sale stores who did the work and what they earned. Month-end becomes a signature instead of a negotiation.

Commission, advances and leave in one place

Commission per service

Set a percentage on each service, or one salon-wide rate. The amount earned is stored on the sale line the day it is sold.

A private desk per stylist

Staff log in with their own phone number and see only their commission, their payouts, their advances and their leave.

Advances that are tracked

A staff member requests an advance in the system; when a manager approves it, the amount is booked as an ADVANCE expense and netted off salary.

Leave with a balance

Annual, sick, emergency or unpaid leave is requested with dates and a reason, and approved or declined by a manager or receptionist.

Salary payouts on record

Each payout stores the period, base salary, commission, advances deducted and net paid, so history is never reconstructed from memory.

Role-based access

Receptionists and managers review staff requests; front-line staff logins cannot open the till, expenses or another person's records.

How a commission month is built

LineWhere it comes from
Commission earnedSum of the commission stored on each sale line for that staff member in the chosen month.
Base salaryThe salary you hold for the staff member, shown separately from commission.
Approved advancesAdvances approved in that period, already booked as ADVANCE expenses.
Payouts madeSalary records saved for the staff member, with method and date.
Balance outstandingEarned minus paid, so both sides see the same figure before payday.

Staff and commission questions

Can commission be changed mid-month?

Yes. New sales use the new rate, and sales already paid keep the commission amount recorded at the time, so a rate change never rewrites a payslip.

What happens when a stylist leaves?

Set the staff record to inactive. Their history, commission and payouts stay in reports, but they can no longer sign in or be assigned to bookings.

Can staff see salon totals?

No. A staff desk is deliberately restricted to their own records, which is what makes it safe to hand a stylist a login.

Who can approve leave and advances?

Managers and receptionists. Both get an alert when a request arrives, and the decision is stored with the reviewer and the date.
